The Lazy Acres Family Farm is located in Marianna, Florida and is owned and operated by Ryan & Kelly Ziglar; along with our their three sons, Garrett, Dylan and Nathan. On the farm, we raise cows, pigs and chickens and we sell beef, pork and poultry at our farm store, online store and farmers’ markets.

The MRL Ranch is a small family owned and family run Akaushi beef ranch. Established in 2007 with the goal of producing outstanding beef at a reasonable cost. We have focused on achieving that goal by identifying and adhering to the tenents of: No hormones, No Antibiotics, Great genetics, and Ethical treatment. Our farm houses sit on a knoll overlooking the Snohomish Valley and the rest of our 220-acre family-owned farm. The Hagen family has owned and operated the farm since 1949. Originally a dairy farm, the Hagen farm now raises natural beef, pork, and lamb, offers two homes for vacation stays and tours, and sells goods and offers classes in the roadside store.

Red Devon cattle are one of the oldest heritage beef breeds in existence today. They are the breed that the Pilgrims chose to bring with them to America in 1623. George Washington also owned a herd of Red Devon cattle. Devon grass-fed beef has a particularly rich and robust flavor that is juicy and fine-textured. OUR FARMING PRACTICES: Our herd is 100% grass-fed. They never receive grain. Our cattle are born on our farm and spend their entire lives on pasture. During the growing season, our herd is moved once a day to a new “salad bar” slice of pasture. During the dormant season, our herd either grazes winter cover crops or is fed grass/alfalfa hay.
