Our Regenerative farm follows the natural cycles of nature. We cull/process beef in spring and fall following the natural growth of our cattle. We raise our meat poultry from spring to fall to utilize our pastures, raising them outside in fresh air and sunshine. In the winter months, our land rests, hopefully under a blanket of snow. Farming in high desert land presents a challenge with water use and pasture growth. That is where our animals help us. Using an intensive rotational grazing system, moving cattle and chicken daily allows for proven pasture growth and healthy soil. The more biomass and nutrients we can give to the soil, the less water we need to maintain a healthy pasture system. Checking for root depth and worms in the soil gives us a great indication of how our program is working too. This method provides all the inputs required to improve our soils. We also compost everything on our farm, spreading it into areas that need more help and on our garden and orchards. Nothing goes to waste in this system. Using all the tools nature provides us is creating a beautiful little farm filled with happy people and animals. We are blessed!

We are a five generation family farm raising grass fed beef cattle on rotational pastures and high quality baleage. Also raising pigs and meat chickens from spring to fall. Additionally we have started growing seasonal vegetables again after taking a few years off. A new on farm store is in the works and we hope to continue to grow in all that we are currently doing despite the direction of the world.

We supplement the cattle’s grass diet with fermented chopped corn stalks to help with marbling. And we treat our animals with respect.

Hey! My son and I own and run a 80 acre ranch in North Georgia. We sell whole, half and quarter shares of Angus and American Waygu beef directly to customers. We finish our beef when the cows/steers are between 24-31 months old to maximize marbling. We finish heifers/steers 4 times a year at small (well vetted)processors near us to minimize stress on the cows. We have herd of 17 "momma" Angus cows and a 100% Waghu bull. They are moved everyday to best simulate grazing in nature and to keep their grass at its best. There are no vaccinations or hormones! Their calves are weaned at 7-8 months to best ensure their health. The heifers/steers are finished on grass with hay and a small amount of non-GMO feed (progressively fed the last 90 days) which we buy from Reseca Sun Feed. We take the finished heifers/steers to a local processor and work directly with each of our customers in order that he gets a customized beef order. Then we deliver our customers orders.
